• Canary Square By Image Conscious.

Not too long ago, we wanted to give props to the creators of the brand identity for JP's Canary Square. Well, we found out who they are – it's Image Conscious of Maverick Square – and they just informed us that Canary Square's new site just went live.

It's nice. We continue to be fans.

Running till the end of the week, One Shot – a pop up shop of products by artist Greg Lamarche – is being presented by Bodega and Fourth Wall Project.

Out of print t-shirts, prints, posters, skate decks, magazines, drawings and books will be sold exclusively at the Brookline Ave. gallery down the street from Fenway Park. Lamarche's work plays with a profusion of font styles, word fragments and multiple layers and employs characteristics from graffiti such as repetition, bold colors, multiple perspectives and movement. He has been featured in The New York Times, Print, Juxtapoz, Modern Painters and Arkitip among others.

  • Is Your City Honest?

Creativity just featured the case study vid for the recent Honest Tea "social experiment" conducted in major cities like San Francisco, New York, Chicago and of course, our very own Beantown.

We actually caught up with producer Ben Cohen when they did the Boston leg of the experiment last summer. So shout outs to him and his team for the nice work and the well-deserved recognition – and to you, Boston, for being mostly honest.

Big Boi of Outkast + The Black Keys = Win.

We love a good mashup. Don't you? One can argue making a great ad is akin to putting together a solid mashup that just works. Blending elements of the familiar to create something new and engaging. Right?

    Happy Monday, folks.

  • Tumblr Thursday: Clients From Hell

    / Comments (0)

This week's Tumblr Tuesday is coming to you on Tumblr Thursday. We at the Boston Egotist have been struck with the "flu" and have been trying to find a way to use it as an excuse to go play hooky at SXSW. So far, no luck, but we will be following the tweets and blogs of all the agencies that are Austin-bound this week.

    Without further ado...
Clients from Hell has been around for awhile, but for those of you spending late nights at the agency, it's possible that you've missed it. Featuring reader-submitted stories, Clients from Hell focuses mostly on the trials and tribulations of being a freelance designer.

One of our recent favorite submissions was:
"I’m afraid of Facebook, people can find you through it. They could have complaints and I don’t want to be hunted down by the Facebook people."

We've all had a client from hell and thankfully now we have a Tumblrblog to commiserate about it.
