From Kindle, Fire is Born.

In case you missed it, Amazon introduced us to Kindle Fire yesterday.

The Voltaire quote from the ad reads, "The instruction we find in books is like fire. We fetch it from our neighbors, kindle it at home, communicate it to others and it becomes property of all."

Yeah, OK, Amazon. For $199, we're probably gonna get one. Or four.

The hardware sounds very good for this price point. It might be a good buy even for people who don't care about Amazon, especially if CyanogenMod is able to support it. It's a shame that Honeycomb source isn't available, but hopefully ICS will come soon
