That's right. Today marks the 60th anniversary of the color television. And to commemorate, let's take a trip down memory lane with these vintage color TV ads. Why were the ads necessary, you ask? Well, back then, companies actually had trouble selling the new technology – buying a color model TV was akin to buying a new car. Yep, surprise, surprise, the damn things were expensive...

This is one of my favorite posts from the ego. I just thought the bottom of the page us always supposed to be a larger measurement than the top between the image. Besides other signage. I appreciate vintage.
