Quitting Facebook.

The Boston Globe is featuring Boston College sophomore Ryan Murphy, who has supposedly given up on the ubiquitous social network and is now chronicling his "journey."

Now, is it just us, or is there something ironic and maybe a little off about "quitting Facebook," announcing it to the rest of the world and then keeping an online blog about what it's like not to be on Facebook?

Also, how do we know young Ryan is not getting his fix from Twitter, LinkedIn (really?) and/or (gulp) Myspace? Then there's also Google Profiles creeping around the corner...
