ABOUT SVPPLY:
Svpply exists to make online retail a better experience and to be the next Amazon. Our users are dedicated, our data is fascinating, our team is tiny, and we’re positioning to build this thing into a monster. We're based in Boston’s Davis Square with a handful of high-pedigree investors to help, including Dennis Crowley (co-founder of Foursquare) and Zach Klein (co-founder of Vimeo).

ABOUT THE JOB:
We want a maker. We want someone who breathes pop culture and shits side-projects. We're too small to spend a bunch of time managing you, so you should understand our potential and be able to run with it. We've got a lot of data and we want you to help us turn it into compelling features.

We need you to have excellent knowledge of MySQL and you should be comfortable with PHP, frameworks and MVC. You should have an interest in high-throughput feeds, and a willingness to experiment in CouchDB and other NoSQL platforms. We’d be impressed if you had experience with server tuning and optimization.
