TripTV, a Denver based travel video marketing company, is looking for bids on an upcoming production in Hawaii from August 3 -19, 2011. The purpose of this production is to supplement existing footage in order to complete a marketing campaign for a major hotel brand with 11 properties located throughout the islands of Oahu, Maui, Kauai and the Big Island. Additionally, the successful bidder with continue the project through post-production. TripTV will provide and familiarize you with all previously captured content. You will be responsible for incorporating the shots you capture into the existing timelines to make compelling, "experiential" marketing videos.

The existing footage was captured by two teams, one with a Red One and the second team with the Canon 7D and 1D DSLR cameras. To effectively combine the original with the new content, your bid must include production on one of the following camera rigs: Red One, Red Epic, Canon 7D, Canon 1D, or Sony FS100.

Your camera rig must include lens lengths ranging from 12mm through 200mm. You must have a working knowledge of lens filtration and must bring at least ND, ND Grads, Sunset Filter with the capability to combine multiple filters at once (Matte box). Dynamic, moving shots are a requirement. You must have, in addition to a high-quality fluid-head tripod, additional support items that enable movement ie. Steadicam, Dolly, Jib, Slider, etc. Please specify which equipment you would be using in your bid.

Underwater shots are required. Aerial shots are required - TripTV will be making the arrangements for the aircraft.

Pre-production will begin immediately upon bid approval with support from TripTV. You should be prepared to develop production schedules and panel-based storyboards for approximately 4 or 5 short vignettes per property (11 properties). TripTV has an extensive library of photos from each property and the brand has a deep online content library that can both be drawn from for storyboard creation.

The information, updates and project development will be managed via TripTV's existing Online Project Management system. It is mandatory that all updates, including internal and external communication, take place for the entirety of this project within this web-based system. Production will begin with travel to Oahu on August 3rd ; cameras on, on August 4th, 2011. Production will be taking place on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and the Big Island with 4 days dedicated to each island. There will not be any 'rest' days during the production. Travel days will be combined with location scouting and will count as the first of the four days on each island. The primary objectives of production are:

Hotel Facade (Day and Night) Ultra-wide iconic Hawaii imagery Branding (Logos and Brand imagery within the property) Missed Areas (pickups missed during initial production phase) Talent Scenarios (Pickup shots of individual scenes that require talent ie 'couple at dinner', 'family in pool', etc.)

Post-Production will begin immediately upon completion of the production phase. You will be responsible for developing existing timelines (created using FCP 7) to incorporate the new footage. You will be responsible for finish editing including color-correction of the final, locked timelines. Input and feedback will be provided by TripTV and a brand representative via our online Project Management System.

Your response must include a flat rate, all-inclusive budget; no extras or overtime - for the entire project from beginning to end including all expenses. TripTV will be ONLY be responsible for hotel stays including one room per crew member (up to four) on each island, parking, Internet access, and meals on property (this would be during the times they offer staff service but does not include room service). Equipment insurance will be provided for the entirety of the shoot. If you win the bid, a copy of coverage provided will be forwarded for review. We are seeking a creative, dependable group for this shoot. Standard television-style, commercial footage is not what we are looking for. Experience shooting destinations, hotels, or resorts, is a plus.
