ALIVE magazine (www.alivemag.com), St. Louis' premier lifestyle publication, seeks a graphic designer to work on a contract basis to design editorial layouts. This is a short-term (60-90 days) contract but with the possibility of leading to full-time employment as a junior art director.

Contract work would include:
• Design of editorial pages of the magazine
• Creation of some branding materials for ALIVE events
• Work with freelance photographers as needed for layout designs

Requirements:
• Passion for print magazine design and production
• Fluent knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop (CS4 or later)
• Superior communications skills
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Degree in graphic design, editorial design or similar
