FORGE worldwide, a strategic branding and advertising agency, is seeking an experienced Digital Art Director who brings intense passion for, focused experience in, and deep knowledge of digital design. To be considered, candidates must have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of digital design experience in an advertising/branding agency environment.

- Concept, design and execute digital creative deliverables for multiple brands that address the given assignment in an innovative and engaging way; that optimize the users experience; and that drive results.
- Create a range of concepts and designs for each project and be able to partner with copywriters and Creative Directors to ensure the art direction and visual presentation supports the concept.
- Effectively communicate visual designs, motion design, concepts, and storyboards through presentations, feedback discussions, and securing client approval of recommended designs.
- Work closely and collaboratively with a team of designers, juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and communicate with internal teams as well as clients.
- Be self-motivated with a positive attitude and have strong communications skills.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fine Arts or Graphic Design or equivalent professional training/experience.
- This position requires 2+ years of digital design experience within an agency environment.
- All candidates must have formal design training with exceptional conceptual and design skills.
- An overall understanding of web production and the capabilities within digital channels is essential. Specifically understanding the practical benefits and limitations of Internet technologies (Flash, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Demonstrated record of creating cutting-edge and original digital design solutions on tight deadlines.
- Experience with solving complex user experiences. Always sensitive to user behaviors and following best practices with user interface design.
- Self-motivated, a natural problem-solver, and a good communicator with a demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, both independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must be MAC literate with expert use of Photoshop, Image Ready, Illustrator & InDesign.
- Understanding of Flash, After Effects, and Video production is an added bonus. - An online portfolio of OLA and Site design is required for consideration.
