By / / Boston College alumnus Patrick Downes and his wife, Jessica, were seriously injured at the Boston Marathon bombings in 2013 and have been incredible beacons of hope and healing for this city as they have learned to walk and run again. This Marathon Monday, Pat and Boston College classmate Tom Treacy are running the Marathon for the Boston College Strong Scholarship fund. As a way to show support for Pat, Tom, #BCStrong, and all of the runners crossing the Copley Square finish line, this shirt was designed by fellow Eagle Pope Carlos who found inspiration from a much beloved bootleg Marathon Monday shirt from Pat’s days as an undergrad at BC. Proceeds from the sale will directly support the BC Strong Scholarship. You can show your support and order your shirt here today. Online pre-orders end tomorrow Wednesday 3/30 at 11:59pm.
