The Ad Club Introduces The NON-Event.

As evidenced by the sheer volume of entries for Hatch 2011, it’s clear that everybody likes to win awards for their clients. However, we were struck by the number of Hatch winners recognized for their non-profit clients, and it inspired us.
We are delighted to announce a brand new award show in January 2012 — The “NON-Event” — in celebration of non-profits, their agency partners, and the award-winning creative and marketing they produce together.
Dedicating valuable time and resources to non-profit clients is not easy, so it is our hope to recognize the unique partnerships between the advertising agencies and non-profit organizations in our region. Furthermore, we’d like to celebrate all the phenomenal work that’s been created as a direct result of those relationships. In addition, we will also recognize one corporation in particular, with the Non-Profit Partner of the Year Award.
A Call for Entries for work ranging from Best Social Media Campaign, to Best Use of Out of Home, to Best PSA will go out on Monday, November 14th. Please review the categories and guidelines and start gathering any materials you’d like to enter on behalf of your non-profit partners. An awards breakfast and show will take place to honor the winners in late January 2012, with additional details to be announced shortly on our NON-Event site.
